We have a superb selection of 8 Real Ales including IPAS, stouts, porters, amber and pale ales. At least 2 Real Ciders on draft and 12 craft beers. Our selected craft beers include Fruit sours, dark ales, hoppy pales and IPAs from far and wide. We also have 6 Continental beers and 8 World beers and lagers in our taps including 4 fresh Weisse Beers ready for you to enjoy!

Love coming here for a fun Thursday night pub quiz or for a casual outing. Relaxed, and friendly atmosphere and staff always helpful. Food here is boss, highly recommend the beef scouse. Huge range of beers, and they do a nice Guinness too. One of Liverpools classic pubs.
Calm atmosphere. I went on a Tuesday, so I'm not sure if that's how it is always (especially on weekends). If so, then it's perfect for an introvert who only wants to sit in a corner and read a book (they have books inside!). No loud music at all. It's like having a drink onboard an ancient ship library.
I liked the large choice. It was super stuff. If I ever enter the Liverpool again, I'll make a monumental effort to drink from their inappropriate glass vessels. Getting the wrong glass was hilario TBH.
Positive: very good food. Cool pub interior (looks German). Nice staff.Negative: no music at all. Cold.
Lovely evening spent in the Ship & Mitre for a drink and some food. I enjoyed Delirium Red on tap along with a delicious bowl of beef scouse. Staff are friendly and it was a classic pub atmosphere - very lovely indeed
Cozy and warm pub absolutely worth a visit. One of the better pub experiences during my day in Liverpool. Has that old, earthy, rustic feel and look. Great menu available on a Sunday. And quite busy, clearly a popular place. They pour a great pint and in hindsight I should have ordered some food. Will return one day again, hopefully.

Lovely place, massive selection of beers, ales and ciders. The girl (with long dark hair) behind the bar welcomed us as we came in and was really friendly as were all the staff who we saw.There is a little kitchen serving food. We didn't try it but the food looked great coming out.Will definitely be back.
Was up for one night for a concert. Pub was opposite my hotel and I liked the look of the facade, so went in and was immediately impressed with the range of drinks on offer.Very well-kept ales and friendly and exceptionally quick service.Had a very nice, cooked from scratch lunch that I selected from an interesting and short menu (I love a short a menu).No complaints.Will be back when I return to Liverpool.
Simply the best pub in Liverpool. I made lifelong friends within 30 minutes of my first setting foot inside the place. Large beer selection and the food menu looks great as well (didn't try it yet).
Absolutely a spot on pub, very friendly staff, great range of wickets... Real good home cooked food. Will be returning again 🍻👌Edit.... yes we returned... this time, hot dog loaded with black pudding... chips loaded with curry sauce and onion bhaji... wow and yes I'd order again.
What can i say about the Ship And Mitre apart from it's absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I don't know how many handpumps they have as apparently there's more than one room but it must run into Double figures, all the ones i had were spot on. There's also an extensive range of keg beers from around the world, and to top it off its got it's own bottle shop, life doesn't get much better than this. Also the food is amazing and at a great price too. This pub is 100 % in my all time favourite pubs. A true Liverpool gem.
